About Charlotte Davenport-Jeffery
Charlotte-Louise – CJ to most – brings 13 years of experience and an impressive playing history to Invicta Dynamics. Originally from Kent and working as a beautician, she started in hockey after watching a friend play and has been a forward ever since her U18s coach moved her out of defence.
She’s played at a high level across multiple clubs including Guildford Elite, Streatham D1 and Elite, and Lee Valley NIHL2.
Ice Hockey Career
Her greatest hockey achievement speaks for itself: she has played for England.
Growing up, her idol was Lucy (a nod to the pioneering women who shaped British women’s hockey), and joining Invicta was straightforward – they’re the closest women’s team to home.
What she loves most is the people. Simple as that.
When asked about hobbies outside hockey, she replied with a laughing emoji – there’s barely time for anything else.
She’s always wanted to try figure skating, which feels like a natural next step for someone who’s spent over a decade mastering the ice.

Her greatest hockey achievement is representing England.
Life Away From Ice Hockey
Outside hockey, there is very little downtime due to her commitments. Figure skating is something she would still like to try in the future.
Her teammates would describe her as slay, diva, and dramatic – and she’d almost certainly agree.
